With New Year’s resolutions in high swing, many national chains are offering discounts and are throwing in extra perks to attract new members. But move fast—many of the deals will vanish by the end of January.

The Gym: Crunch

New Year’s Perk: Join in January and get 50 percent off enrollment on all month-to-month memberships. Join by Jan. 8 and get the entire month of January free.
