Halloween is just around the corner! Â In fact it’s so close that I’ve already seen Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations for sale …Â But before we let October get away from us, we should all check out some of the fun, spooky events taking place all over the Loudoun County area before the end of the Halloween season!
Fright Night in Ashburn
- What: “A terrifying trail through the pitch black woods of Ashburn, Virginia that will leave you with a scare you will never forget!”
- In addition to the trail they also have music, bonfires, concessions, face-mask painters, a photo booth, and a paintball target course
- All proceeds benefit the Community Church youth outreach, the Messiah’s Market food pantry, and the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter (LAWS).
- When: October 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th

Brambleton Town Center Trick-or-Treating
- What: Stop by your favorite shops and restaurants in the Brambleton Town Center for some fun, safe pre-Halloween Trick-or-Treating
- Our Brambleton RE/MAX Gateway office is located in the Brambleton Town Center so I’m sure of your favorite real estate agents will stop by with their kiddos!
- When: October 27th, noon – 2 pm
Terrorville at Pev’s Paintball
- What: “The biggest Halloween theme park in Northern Virginia. Â Variety of haunted attractions that will send shivers up your spine.”
- Walk of Terror: “Take a terrifying walk through the woods of Pev’s Paintball Park. Â You will encounter a variety of zombies, clowns, monsters, ghouls, and goblins that will torture and terrorize you from start to finish.”
- Zombie Paintball Shoot: “an exhilarating attraction that will allow you to snipe zombies while riding on a haunted hayride. Â Zombies will hide behind massive logs and mini-houses so it’s up to you to give it your best shot and take the zombies out!”
- A portion of the proceeds benefit Loudoun County Public Schools, Fairfax County Public Schools, Prince William County Public Schools, American Cancer Society, and Military and Veterans Associations
- When: Oct 18th, 19th, 25th, and 26th from 7-11 pm

- Cost: Walk of Terror ($20), Zombie Paintball Shoot + Walk of Terror package ($30), Monster Encounter ($5 – kid friendly), Zombie Rumble ($5)

Blood & Guts RunÂ
- What: “Participants will trudge through a 5K (approximately) obstacle course while dodging a horde of zombies. Â Various obstacles include: blood and guts pit, climbing walls, tire gauntlet, hay bale pyramid, pumpkin guts pit, steeplechase, cargo nets, a mudslide, and many more!”
- “You are supporting the American Cancer Society, Military and Veterans Association, and local school districts within your community”
- When: October 26th from 9 am – 5 pm (new races start every half hour)
- Where: Bull Run Regional Park, 7700 Bull Run Drive, Centreville, VA 20121
- Cost: $79 until Friday October 25th (they offer $20 off the registration fee for students, teachers, military, policemen, firemen, nurses, and EMS)
