Holiday Masquerade and Open House The D.C. Commission on the Arts and Humanities encourages masquerade attire for this party with music, performances and refreshments. There will be a Creative Mask Contest. New and unwrapped art supplies, toys, clothes and certificates to arts programs will be accepted by the D.C. Passport to the World Gala: An International Red Carpet Affair Professionals in the City hosts this gala with bands, magicians, caricaturists, dance lessons, food and drinks. Kennedy Center Grand Foyer Party The D.C. swing band the Tom Cunningham Orchestra and soul-R&B singer Lady perform at this party complete with a balloon drop at midnight for ticket holders to evening performances (6 p.m. or later) or Roof Terrace Restaurant diners (your receipt is your entry ticket). Loudoun County Options
Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg is ringing in the New Year with a variety of events for adults and families. Indulge in some Champagne & Caviar at the Gold Cup Wine Bar and then head over to Harriman’s for a special New Year’s Eve dinner.
