Summer Activities To Do Near Lansdowne

We may be deep into July, but summer isn’t done yet! There’s still plenty of time left to enjoy fabulous weather, preferably outdoors, before the colder weather creeps in. There’s so much to do in and around Lansdowne to keep yourself busy, but if you need some new options, grab some friends and check out the following ideas.

Wineries

There’s few things that are better than having a fabulous glass of wine, and while it’s fine to do that at home, a way to change things up is to head to one of the many wineries that are just a short drive away. Spend time at The Vineyards & Winery at Lost Creek, which is 34 minutes away, Casanel Vineyards, which is 23 minutes away, or Tarara Winery, which is 36 minutes away. Don’t forget to check out their websites for upcoming events.

Leesburg Premium Outlets

When the weather gets incredibly hot and you don’t know what to do with yourself, get into some air conditioning you don’t have to pay for by going to the Leesburg Premium Outlets. It’s a great excuse to do some shopping! Some of the many stores at which you can shop include Guess Factory Store, Burberry, Barneys New York Warehouse, Under Armour, Old Navy Outlet, and Lacoste.

Algonkian Regional Park

There’s plenty to do at Algonkian Regional Park that could keep you engaged and entertained for days on end. You can go fishing, play miniature golf, go for a hike, go boating, cool off at the Volcano Island Waterpark, or rent a cabin and get away for a few days. Whether you go by yourself, with family and friends, or with a date, it’s a perfect way to spend a summer day.

Dine outdoors

Eating outside is one of the best pleasures of summer, and there’s certainly numerous restaurants around Lansdowne that allow you to do just that. Fire Works Pizza, Los Tios Grill, Melt Gourmet Cheeseburgers, Vintage 50, South Street Under, and La Lou Bistro are just some of the spots to check out. If possible, considering the high demand for outdoor seating during summer months, try to make a reservation beforehand.

Hang out at Lansdowne

Now, of course, the ultimate way to spend your summer is to hang out around Lansdowne. From getting in a golf game to going swimming, visiting the spa to eating at one of the fabulous restaurants, there’s so much to do right in your own backyard.
